Team & Permissions

Belanzy lets you invite your team and give them the right level of access. This keeps your account secure while making it easy for staff to do their job.

Common roles include owners, managers, service staff, and kitchen staff.

To invite a new team member, you usually just need their name and email address.

1. Go to Settings → Team.
2. Click Invite member.
3. Enter their details and choose a role.
4. Send the invite – they’ll receive an email with instructions.

You can revoke access at any time if someone leaves your business.

Roles simplify permission management. Instead of configuring each user individually, you assign them to a role with a predefined set of permissions.

• Owner – Full access, including billing and settings.
• Manager – Can manage menus, locations, and staff (but may have limited billing access).
• Service – Focused on orders and table management.
• Kitchen – Access to the service/kitchen view only.

Adjust the exact permissions depending on how Belanzy is configured for your account.

For simplicity, many businesses give staff a dedicated POS or kitchen view, often running on a tablet.

These views focus only on what staff need during service:

• Creating new orders from POS.
• Viewing and updating active orders.
• Marking items or orders as ready/served.

Staff in these roles won’t see sensitive settings or billing details.

A few simple steps keep your Belanzy account secure and reliable:

• Only give owner access to actual owners or trusted managers.
• Remove access when staff leave your business.
• Use separate logins instead of sharing a single account.

This protects your data and avoids accidental changes to menus or billing.
